Easter Seals
As National Founding Sponsor of Easter Seals Walk with Me, Century 21 has partnered with Easter Seals as our sole philanthropy since 1979. Over $102 million have been raised to benefit children and adults across the country. Afflicted with life-altering diseases and disabilities, whether from birth, illness or accidents, from infant through elder services, Easter Seals clients receive help, hope and answers through exceptional services, education, outreach, and advocacy, including veterans.

Since 1992 Century 21 C. Watson has enthusiastically embraced an annual bowl-a-thon fundraiser, a one-day event that raises $20,000 to $25,000, with 100% of the money raised remaining locally to benefit Central California Easter Seals. Many of our associates dedicate themselves and their talents to assure the bowl-a-thon is tremendously successful and are gratified that their time and effort makes a significant and tangible difference. John Carey Sr. serves as a director on the Central California Easter Seals board.
In 2010 funds were raised to send 25 campers to Camp Harmon for a week's retreat in the Santa Cruz mountains. Since the 1960&rsqo;s, Camp Harmon has provided an important outlet for disabled children and adults to be themselves, enrich their lives, and provide a corresponding week of respite for their care providers at home. When state budget constraints ended funding for Camp Harmon, Century 21 C. Watson associates immediately took a “we'll make it happen&lrquo; challenge of providing camp scholarships to campers who could not personally afford the tuition.

Bruce Hinman, President and C.E.O. of Easter Seals, Central California received a check in the amount of $21,600 from John Carey, Sr. President of Century 21 C. Watson in Fresno. The money was generated at the company's annual Bowler's Bash, June 26th. Easter Seals has long been a cherished philanthropy of the Carey family.
Central California Blood Center
Century 21 C. Watson agents volunteer to donate blood at the Central California Blood Center, either at the Jennie Eller facility, 4343 West Herndon in Fresno, or in the Blood Mobile which has made routine stops at the Century 21 office on a frequent basis. Century 21 C. Watson co-sponsors the Halloween blood drive at the Pumpkin Center north of Fresno every fall.

Knowing that each pint of donated blood can save the lives of up to three people, and can be processed into several different components to help people in a variety of ways makes our agents eager donors.
Poverello House
Whether it is a youth sports, Poverello House, a local food bank, mental health, cancer, diabetes, animal rescue and shelter services, American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, People's Self-Help Housing, faith-based charities and organizations, or dozens of other organized groups who benefit mankind in some way, virtually all Century 21 C. Watson associates give back to our community through care, concern, time, and dollars to help. Recently, a daughter of one of our associates organized and led the collection of supplies and items to benefit the citizens of Joplin, Missouri after their horrendous tornado. Within a few days Kayla had enough supplies to fill a 48' trailer that picked up the donations here in Fresno, transported them to Joplin, with distribution to four area churches.
